Blairs doorsets are made from hardwood. They can be made to each clients individual specification of 50mm rails, styles and inserted panels of your choice. The rails on a door run horizontally and usually consist of a bottom, mid and top rail, which separate the wooden or glass panels. The styles on a door run vertically, one side for the hinges and the other for the locks and handles, they can be made to open inward or outward.
The panels can either be wooden fielded panels, giving an olde style sunken look between the rails and styles, or be made from any glass type you require.
ie clear glass, obscured glass, stained glass etc.
Standard door sets include –
- French doors
- Exterior front or back doorsets
- Sliding patio doors
- Bi-folding patio doors
- Porch doors c/w side deadlight panels (fixed no opening panels)
The standard locking system for these doors is a 3 point lock. This provides high security and a tight seal to the draught proof gaskets that are fitted into the frame.
Cylinder keys are used in this type of lock and they can even be keyed to pass to make all doors enjoy the same key if you wish, no more huge sets of keys, just one for your whole house.
Thumb turn internal locks are also an option for ease of locking or opening once inside your home or office.
All doors can be finished to whatever solid colour you choose and can be supplied in a standard range of wood stain finishes. Ie English Oak, Mahogany and Walnut
Sample wood stain sticks can be shown to you on our survey to help choose the correct colour to blend in with your homes exterior.
All doors can be supplied with additional ironmongery ie door knockers, numerals, letterboxes and spy holes etc.
